Message from Walter Marussich, VP of  Special Activities

    Hi Everyone,

Travel restrictions due to the COVID pandemic are less confining due to vaccination programs, changes in political climate, etc. We are seeing an upsurge of pent-up travel demands.

The Scotland/Ireland trip is now scheduled for April 16th to 27th, 2022. The trip roster was expanded to accommodate the demand.  The trip is full.   Wait lists do work, so if interested, please contact Terry Collins-Taucher

The Thailand trip will be rescheduled later this summer.  We will try to maintain a late October to early November 2022 time frame.  This trip is also showing a high demand.  Please contact the trip leader if you are interested.

A bike and barge excursion to the Greek Isles is scheduled for Sept 16 to 27, 2022.  This trip sold out in less than one hour during our membership picnic.  Wait lists do work, so keep trying if you are interested.

We are expecting to offer an Amazon/Galapagos excursion for early summer 2022. Several of you have volunteered  to be the trip leader; thank you!  This trip is currently on hold until COVID restrictions in South America ease up.

This summer's  Grand Canyon rafting trip is sold out and the Jackson WY September 2021 trip is also sold out.  Contact the trip leaders for wait list expectations.

Look for either myself or Linda Mitchell at the GAME OF AXES bar the third Wednesday of every month for an evening of axe throwing fun.  WE have reserved some lanes for two hour blocks at an incredible low price for the Gator Ninja-wannabes

Please review the website for other in-state events, such as baseball and deep sea fishing scheduled for 2021.

    Walter Marussich, VP Special Activities
