    RECENT SOCIAL EVENTS

A Holiday Party - Gator Style

Traditionally, the annual Gator Holiday Party is a sellout, and this year was no exception!

A great time was had by all, thanks to the efforts of  Santa's Helpers who worked  diligently to create a wonderland that added joy and happiness to the holiday season:

    Decorations:

    Deb Haselmire and Dorothy Rettay

The first thing guests noticed was the spectacular wall of lights, patterned like a Christmas Tree on the wall behind the bandstand.  Deb's creativity shone as brightly as the lights!  Table centerpieces by Dorothy got some comments too!

    Elegant Buffet:

    Selected by President Evie Houston

Once again, Evie demonstrated her flair for hosting exceptional dinners.  Thanks,Evie, for your careful selection and planning.

    DJ Jammin' Jim

The spins of Jim Carillo kept the Gators on the dance floor, celebrating an evening of Gator-Style fun in the spirit of the season.

    Songstress Nanci Suzanne

Three delightful holiday selections by our own Nanci added holiday flair to the evening's entertainment.  Thank you, Nanci!

    Holiday Gift:

The price of the event was slashed to $30 for members and $35 for guests, thanks to the generosity of Sharon Long!

We cannot say enough about the generous spirit of Sharon, who made this party affordable to all!

Thanks to everyone who attended to make this a truly spectacular party.

    NEW YEAR'S EVE AT BETTY'S

Betty Williams once again opened her beautiful home for a Gators New Years Eve Party!  A great time was had by all who enjoyed an abundant feast. Each of us brought something to the table to share.  Some of my favorites were Doc Scheer's Elk Sausage, the result of his recent hunting adventure, and Bill Lobb's famous roast pork!  Thank you, Betty, for your

generous hospitality and HAPPY NEW YEAR to all our gator family.

    Warmest Regards,

    Dorothy Rettay, V.P. Socials
