Camping and Biking Weekend in Lake Okeechobee was a lot of fun!
We enjoyed sunny weather, the view of the lake was gorgeous. The bike ride went smoothly and then we relaxed at the J&S Bar. Played left, right and center, pool, and listened to to
the live band while enjoying lunch. Saturday night we had a campfire and the night was perfect: no wind, and warm. The campfire was magical, see the colors on the video and pictures below.
Thank you Ben Smith for once more organizing an event that everybody enjoyed!!!

Message from your President, Evie Houston:
Hello Gators,
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow! Everybody returned from Jackson Hole. There was lots of snow and everybody had a great time. The Banff trip left and I hope they have as much snow and the good weather we’ve had on the last 3 trips. Banff is usually colder, but I don’t see how it could be much colder than Snowmass was. I’m sure the Banff people are having a great ski trip.
Come and try our social events. Meet new people and make new friends. Our happy hours are at a different venue each week and are very enjoyable.
Our first round of nominations was at our last meeting. The next meeting in March will be our final round. Anyone interested running for office, be sure to come to our meeting on March 13th. We have a fabulous Club. Come and join our Board. I am termed out as President, but I will be your Past President.

Message from the VP of Ski Trips
Hello Gators!
So our ski season is off to a great start. Our FSC ski trip has returned from Snowmass where 34 Gators enjoyed the FSC races, parties and skiing with the other ski clubs from Florida.
We have Big Sky and Jackson Hole leaving over the next few weeks. We still have some space on our Italy Dolomites trip so check that out if you want a spring ski trip.
The 2026 Ski Trips are on Sale. I am still looking for a few trip leaders. We have FSC ski trip in January to Telluride, Sun Valley, Winter Park and Purgatory to start.
If you want to experience skiing in Europe watch for our trip to Spain with a side trip to experience Spain’s Carnival after we finish skiing a week.
Reminder, our club is interested in offering ski trips that our members want. If you have any ideas or would like to help with planning these trips, please contact me.
We are always looking for good trip leaders.
