Hello Gators,

I’d like to extend my sincere thanks to Evie Houston for her leadership and to the Gator Board of Directors for their contributions over the past year. Evie will now serve as your Past President.

After serving as Vice President of Special Activities for the past three years, I’ll be passing the torch to Sharon Long.

I'm honored to take on the role of President and look forward to working in partnership with our Board to foster the growth, enjoyment, and ongoing success of our Club and its members.

Be sure to check out the incredible Special Activity and Ski trips we have on sale.

We hope you’ll join us on a future trip in creating unforgettable memories with our Gator Family!

Vacant Positions on the Board- Volunteers Needed

At our next Board Meeting on Thursday, June 5th, we need volunteers to fill vacant positions. The following positions will need to be filled by appointment at that meeting:

VP of Ski Trips

VP of Socials

Secretary

Membership Director

Event Comptroller Director

Communications Director

Please contact our President, Ed Boatright, if you are interested in being on the Board and filling one of these positions. Please be prepared to come to the Board Meeting to introduce yourself to the Board and potentially begin serving.

• Hello Fellow Gators!

   

  I am thrilled to be taking over as VP of Special Activities. I would like to thank Ed Boatright for doing a great job as our former VP and I hope to continue his successful tenure. 

   

  Although I will no longer be VP of Socials, I will continue to plan our happy hours.  I would like to thank Letti Falko, Lorain Lyon and Ben Smith for their ongoing help as Gator Happy Hour Ambassadors.  Please join us at our happy hours.  You can meet other members and make new friends or reconnect with old ones!

   

  Special Activities covers any out of town trips, trips that involve transportation and sports related events.  We have a variety of fun trips and events on our calendar.

   

  We have several exciting major trips on our docket that are mentioned elsewhere in this blast and are posted on our website:

• Scandinavia on September 3-12, 2025
• Mantova, Italy Bike and Barge on September 4-15, 2025

• Spain Parador Trip on April 24-May 5, 2026

• • We are planning a pontoon boat event on Sunday, June 22nd in Tequesta where we’ll travel along the Intracoastal Waterway and enjoy partying on the sandbar. Please contact Lisa Mango at (561) 396-0361 or mango.lisa@icloud.com for more information. Please watch for it in next week’s blast.
  • We are planning a kayaking/paddle boarding event at Blue Pointe Marina on Saturday, June 28th. Please watch for it in next week’s blast.
  • We have scheduled a tubing trip on the weekend of July 12th at Rainbow River. It can be found in this blast as well as on our website.
  • We are planning a kayaking/paddleboarding at MacArthur State Park on Saturday, July 26th. Please watch for it in next week’s blast.

Trip to Southern Spain 2026

An 11 day historic and cultural tour of Southern Spain; includes overnights at several historic Paradors. Tour the magical oriental palace of the Alhambra. Take walking tours of Madrid, Seville, Granada, Toledo and Caceres. Visit the Royal Palace in Madrid, the Prado Museum. Delight in Flamenco and Sevillanas dance shows.
