Twin Tiger Aerobatic Team

Tiger Airshows is proud to introduce the Twin Tiger Aerobatic Team.  Buck Roetman and Mark Sorenson have teamed up in two identical Tiger Yak 55's with a magnificent aerial demonstration of precision and skill as they perform spectacular formation aerobatics. After circling the opening ceremonies flag jump, the team will start off with a dual ship version of the already well-received Salute to Veterans act.  This is guaranteed to blow your expectations out of the park, and start the show off on at an exciting pace.  Later they will return with another precision formation aerial demonstration that will highlight the demanding skills required to fly close formation precision aerobatics, all while combining the challenges of flying through the Ringmasters exciting smoke rings.

Skip Stewart Airshows

Skip Stewart is one of the most entertaining airshow pilots in the world today. He has over Eight Thousand hours of flying experience, he is an airline transport pilot, certified flight instructor and has owned and operated an aerobatic flight school. Skip has earned gold metals in regional aerobatic competitions and served as the chief pilot for a fortune 100 company. Skip has spent more that 10 years entertaining airshow fans around the world.

Gary Ward Airshows

Gary began his airshow career in 1998 in a Pitts S2-B. In 1999, he moved to the Giles 202 and in 2006, he became the first pilot to begin flying airshows in the awesome new MX2! The MX2 is the absolute latest in unlimited aerobatic aircraft. It is strong, fast, and very agile! The entire airframe is constructed of aerospace quality carbon fiber to provide maximum strength and stiffness with minimum weight. The MX2 is powered by a Lycoming engine modified by LYCON to produce more than 350 HP!

Matt Younkin Twin Beach 18

Matt Younkin's Beech 18 performance is likely the most unusual act on the airshow circuit today.  The Beech 18 was never designed for aerobatic flight; however that doesn't make it incapable of doing just that. The performance is almost a mirror image of the one his father Bobby pioneered and flew for over 15 years. It begins with a roll on takeoff followed by a series of Cuban eights, point-rolls, and even a loop. The conclusion is a dirty pass dubbed the "Elephant Waltz" in which Matt rocks the huge transport's wings more than 90 degrees with the landing gear and flaps extended! The performance begins and ends to light-hearted music which capitalizes on an overly obese airplane executing maneuvers that its designers and airshow audience members alike never conceived possible for a large transport plane.  As a contrast, the majority of the performance flows with beauty and grace to equally beautiful music and a special tribute to Bobby Younkin. This is truly a show-stopping act and has been a major highlight in every airshow it has participated in for years.

Elgin Wells' Starjammer

The World's ONLY aircraft of its kind, Starjammer incorporates 250+ super-bright LEDs, five smoke streams, a 4,000 watt amplifier and onboard loudspeakers aimed in all lateral directions. Optimized for both day and night airshows, and a spectacular ground show, this Unlimited Class, Level I aerobatic airplane represents the Next Generation of Aerial Entertainment!

Dan Buchanan Airshows

Dan was a New York & Connecticut home builder and flat-track motorcycle racer; then moved to Lake Tahoe, CA where he enjoyed the thrill of flying off mountain tops. He was getting his Private Pilot License when in 1981, he had a spinal injury landing a hang glider in bad weather that he shouldn't have even been flying in. Losing his ability to walk, he returned to college to pursue a career in mechanical engineering, landing him in Silicon Valley, CA. Despite this new handicap, Dan returned to the thrill of flying within six months, and since then his tenacity and adventurous spirit has allowed him to accrue more than 2,900 hours of flight time in Hang Gliders and Sailplanes. Completing his Private and Commercial Pilot License as a wheelchair user, his motorless recreational flights are typically 3-6 hours long, thermal soaring as high as 18,000 feet over the western deserts and mountains. After his first air show performance at Medford, OR in 1989, his appearances increased each year, and now he shares his thrill of flight with millions of people around the world   during his annual 25+ city Airshow tour, driving 45,000+ miles each summer.
