The American German Club is offering a Taste of Oktoberfest 2024 (50th year).  They will bring you a fantastic sampling of the original Oktoberfest, one of the largest in the country. They will have two bands over the course of two weekends and one band brought in from Munich! They offer authentic German cooking, domestic wine and imported beer, a carnival and much more. Mark your calendars for the annual Oktoberfest event. We hope to see you there!

Purchase tickets online before the event date, as adult tickets purchased on the day of are $20 and may sell out.  Advance tickets must be purchased through Eventbrite.

This event takes place between 2:00 PM and 11:00 PM.  We are planning to meet at 3:30 PM.


Music Entertainment

The American German Club welcomes the Heldensteiner Band from Germany in their Pavilion! They play at Oktoberfest in Munich and now the Palm Beaches! In addition, they will have 2 US bands playing in the Clubhouse. The Terry Cavanaugh Duo will be performing the first weekend and the Sherri and Larry band is playing the second weekend in October.

Parking: You are strongly urged to carpool/ride share, as parking is limited.

$20 parking at the Club

 - Parking lot North of the Clubhouse – 5111 Lantana Road

 - Buttonwood Park, across the street from the club on Lantana Road – 5300 Lantana Road


Free Offsite Parking with Free Shuttle Service

Both Saturday and Sunday you can park at one of 3 schools on Haverhill Rd. and catch the free Molly's Trolley's Service to the Clubhouse. The schools are; Diamond View Elementary, Tradewinds Middle School and Heritage Elementary.


Uber/Lyft/Taxi 

Please instruct the driver to approach the Oktoberfest from Jog Road, and pick you up or drop you off at Buttonwood Park, which is directly across the Oktoberfest on Lantana Road. 


Locals

Please approach Lantana Rd. from Haverhill and Jog Rd. as Lantana will be backed up during peak hours.


Food and Beverages can only be purchased using scrip tickets.

Each script ticket has a value of $1.00 cash. Cash cannot be accepted in any booth, kitchen or in the carnival area! Please purchase script tickets and the ticket booths located throughout the Oktoberfest Grounds before ordering Food, Beverages or other items for sale! No Refunds!

Cash and all major credit cards are accepted at our ticket booths.

NEW RIDES AND GAMES

On the far side of the Oktoberfest Grounds you will find a Carnival Area complete with new rides and games for children and adults alike. The Carnival tradition started with the Oktoberfest in Munich and we are pleased to make it part of our “Original Oktoberfest.”


WHAT AM I ALLOWED TO BRING TO THE EVENT?

You are welcome to bring your own beer stein. However, any kind of weapon or food and drink Items are prohibited on the premises. No pets including emotional support pets are allowed on the event other than licensed service dogs with proper documentation.
